First Short Film

first semester film from Travis Drahozal on Vimeo.

Hand drawn final my first semester, only color was the flames, and the Hell sequence was inverted to give that effect. A silent film.

early lip sync 2

early lip sync 2 from Travis Drahozal on Vimeo.

Second early lip sync exercise which we were given without any basic knowledge of how to animate a lip sync, thus the Scooby-Doo/Hanna-Barbera feel to it.

Cut Out

Paper Cut-Out from Travis Drahozal on Vimeo.

Three similar exercises using a paper cut-out character, connected at the joints with thread. The first one had to show it walking into frame, doing something, then exiting the frame. The second one had to display an object that the character walks into frame and interacts with. The third one involved a heavy object that it had to pick up.

Flip Books

First animations I ever did, all on note cards meant to flip by hand. First was the pendulum, second was the "every day action observation," third was the "inanimate object come to life," fourth was the wild card (whatever we wanted).

Changing Portrait

Changing portrait done for a Frankenstein project, "April-December" style heavily influenced by Marc Davis.

Heartbeat visual I made for a Frankenstein project, reflecting the human arteries and veins as researched by Victor.
